About Disaster Studies & Management
The Centre's Disaster Studies and Management programme covers socio-economic
vulnerability to disasters and disaster management (principally mitigation
and preparedness).
Its work comprises research, consultancy, information dissemination, education
and training.
The Centre works on projects with aid agencies, academic institutions,
and independent researchers and consultants.
Outlines of some of the Centre's current and recent projects in disaster
studies and disaster management can be read on this website, together
with papers relating to these projects, working papers and other documents
by members of the Centre.
