About Disaster Studies & Management

The Centre's Disaster Studies and Management programme covers socio-economic vulnerability to disasters and disaster management (principally mitigation and preparedness).

Its work comprises research, consultancy, information dissemination, education and training.

The Centre works on projects with aid agencies, academic institutions, and independent researchers and consultants.
