2/2006 – Today: Honorary Research Fellow from the Department of Earth Science at University College London (U.C.L.)

11/2005 – 5/2007: Postdoc in the laboratory on Prevention and Management of natural Hazards in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

02/2004-02/2005 Military service (Sergeant in the Engineers Corps) in the Hellenic Army.

12/2003 PhD from the department of Earth Sciences at University College London. Title: “Generating high-resolution seismic hazard maps through integration of earthquake geology, fault mechanics theory and GIS techniques in extensional tectonic settings”. Supervisors: Dr. Gerald Roberts, Prof. Bill McGuire.
